As of now my work focuses on the material of clay. I highlight the different textures of clay depending on how it was fired. I try especially in the wood kiln firings to let the fire, ash and smoke to do the decorating. Through new projects I would like to bring a narrative of identity and family origin using the techniques I’ve learned through my previous investigations of clay and firing techniques.
