I create functional work for indoors and out. Most of my work is created at the potter’s wheel, but I also hand build from rolled out slabs of clay. I get my inspiration for surface design from nature. Much of my work will include birds, flowers, farm animals or lake life somewhere on the piece. I also use items from nature such as leaves, bark or coral to imprint texture into my pieces. My current work is fired in an electric oxidation kiln and my surface designs are created by lay
